How to read the Hangul

  • Bold, larger (ˈ) = say it strong and a little longer — the stressed syllable.
  • Faint = weak and short (a reduced vowel). Don't give every syllable equal weight.
  • Tiny 으 · 트 · 스 = barely voiced. English has no vowel there — stop on the consonant.
  • Whole word faint (the, of, and, to…) = light and quick in a sentence; stress the content words.
  • Small f v θ ð r = sounds Korean doesn't have — f: upper teeth on the lower lip; v: the same, voiced; θ/ð: tongue tip between the teeth; r: tongue curled back, touching nothing.

    (75:1) Au chef des chantres. [Ne détruits pas.] Psaume d'Asaph. Cantique. (75:2) Nous te louons, ô Dieu! nous te louons; Ton nom est dans nos bouches; Nous publions tes merveilles.

    لامام المغنين. على لا تهلك. مزمور لآساف. تسبيحة‎. ‎نحمدك يا الله نحمدك واسمك قريب. يحدثون بعجائبك‎.

    (75:3) Au temps que j'aurai fixé, Je jugerai avec droiture.

    ‎لاني اعين ميعادا. انا بالمستقيمات اقضي‎.

    (75:4) La terre tremble avec tous ceux qui l'habitent: Moi, j'affermis ses colonnes. -Pause.

    ‎ذابت الارض وكل سكانها. انا وزنت اعمدتها. سلاه

    (75:5) Je dis à ceux qui se glorifient: Ne vous glorifiez pas! Et aux méchants: N'élevez pas la tête!

    قلت للمفتخرين لا تفتخروا وللاشرار لا ترفعوا قرنا‎.

    (75:6) N'élevez pas si haut votre tête, Ne parlez pas avec tant d'arrogance!

    ‎لا ترفعوا الى العلى قرنكم. لا تتكلموا بعنق متصلب‎.

    (75:7) Car ce n'est ni de l'orient, ni de l'occident, Ni du désert, que vient l'élévation.

    ‎لانه لا من المشرق ولا من المغرب ولا من برية الجبال‎.

    (75:8) Mais Dieu est celui qui juge: Il abaisse l'un, et il élève l'autre.

    ‎ولكن الله هو القاضي. هذا يضعه وهذا يرفعه‎.

    (75:9) Il y a dans la main de l'Éternel une coupe, Où fermente un vin plein de mélange, Et il en verse: Tous les méchants de la terre sucent, boivent jusqu'à la lie.

    ‎لان في يد الرب كاسا وخمرها مختمرة. ملآنة شرابا ممزوجا. وهو يسكب منها. لكن عكرها يمصه يشربه كل اشرار الارض

    (75:10) Je publierai ces choses à jamais; Je chanterai en l'honneur du Dieu de Jacob. -

    اما انا فاخبر الى الدهر. ارنم لاله يعقوب‏‎.

    (75:11) Et j'abattrai toutes les forces des méchants; Les forces du juste seront élevées.

    ‎وكل قرون الاشرار اعضب قرون الصدّيق تنتصب
