그러므로 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 보라, 내가 느헬람 사람 스마야와 그 자손을 벌하리니 그가 나 여호와께 패역한 말을 하였음을 인하여 이 백성 중에 거할 그의 사람이 하나도 없을 것이라 내가 내 백성에게 행하려 하는 선한 일을 그가 보지 못하리라 하셨다 하라 여호와의 말이니라

  • Bold, larger (ˈ) = say it strong and a little longer — the stressed syllable.
  • Faint = weak and short (a reduced vowel). Don't give every syllable equal weight.
  • Tiny 으 · 트 · 스 = barely voiced. English has no vowel there — stop on the consonant.
  • Whole word faint (the, of, and, to…) = light and quick in a sentence; stress the content words.
  • Small f v θ ð r = sounds Korean doesn't have — f: upper teeth on the lower lip; v: the same, voiced; θ/ð: tongue tip between the teeth; r: tongue curled back, touching nothing.
