Joshua 1:15Joshua 1:15

여호와께서 너희로 안식하게 하신 것 같이 너희 형제도 안식하게 되며 그들도 너희 하나님 여호와께서 주시는 땅을 얻게 되거든 너희는 너희 소유지 곧 여호와의 종 모세가 너희에게 준 요단 이편 해 돋는 편으로 돌아와서 그것을 차지할지니라’

  • Bold, larger (ˈ) = say it strong and a little longer — the stressed syllable.
  • Faint = weak and short (a reduced vowel). Don't give every syllable equal weight.
  • Tiny 으 · 트 · 스 = barely voiced. English has no vowel there — stop on the consonant.
  • Whole word faint (the, of, and, to…) = light and quick in a sentence; stress the content words.
  • Small f v θ ð r = sounds Korean doesn't have — f: upper teeth on the lower lip; v: the same, voiced; θ/ð: tongue tip between the teeth; r: tongue curled back, touching nothing.
